The M9 is likely to be priced around ₹90 lakh - 1 crore (ex-showroom, India)
JSW MG Motor India is launching its most expensive and luxurious model in India, the M9 MPV, on July 21, 2025. The M9 will be the first model to be retailed through the brand’s new MG Select premium dealerships. Order books for the MG M9 opened in May, and it can be booked for a token amount of ₹51,000.
The M9 is positioned as a chauffeur-driven luxury limousine and will compete with the likes of the Kia Carnival, Toyota Vellfire and Lexus LM. The MPV made its public debut in India at the 2025 Auto Expo, and deliveries are also expected to begin soon. It is expected to be priced around ₹90 lakh - 1 crore (ex-showroom, India).
MG’s newest model is one of the longest MPVs in its segment. It is 5270 mm tall, has a 3200 mm wheelbase, is 2000 mm wide and 1840 mm tall. The M9 will be available as a 6-seater with two luxurious captain’s chairs in the second row, which MG likes to call “Presidential Seats”. These seats offer 16-way adjustment, heating, ventilation and eight massage modes. The cabin also gets 64-colour ambient lighting, two sunroofs (one single-pane and one panoramic), and a 12-speaker audio system.
The M9 will come with features like ADAS, 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, parking sensors, and an ottoman for the second-row seats. It will also have a three-zone climate control and individual screens for the rear passengers. MG has only mentioned the battery pack of the M9, which will be a 90 kWh unit but it hasn’t yet given an official range figure for the MPV.
