The MG Comet EV Gamer Edition has been conceptualised and designed by one of India’s most renowned gamers
MG Motor India has announced the launch of a special gamer edition of the Comet EV. This new special edition is available across all three variants of MG’s EV - Pace, Play and Plush - for a premium of Rs 64,999 over the existing price. The MG Comet EV is priced between Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The MG Comet EV Gamer Edition has been conceptualised and designed by one of India’s most renowned gamers Naman Mathur. He’s also known by his gamertag of Mortal. The Comet EV is clearly inspired by the gaming community with its dark and light themes to appeal to young gaming generation.
MG claims that the exteriors of these vehicles have been crafted from recycled plastic material with dark chrome and metal finish with an illuminated texture. The interior of the Comet EV Gamer Edition boasts Neon Elements derived from glowing materials. Overall, the neon theme and special textures on the inside give off a very gamer-friendly vibe. The MG Comet EV is powered by a 17.3 kWh battery pack and has a claimed range of 230 kilometres. The electric motor on the Comet EV produces 41 bhp and 76 Nm of torque. Its chief rivals are the Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3.
