From a water wading test to a pebble-stone test, the JSW MG Motor India test track had all kinds of obstacles that could effectively check the car's endurance. The 2024 Windsor EV will enter the market with various contemporary features and design elements. Its exterior is set to impress with LED light bars spanning the front and rear, complemented by a vertically stacked headlamp cluster featuring projector headlights. The vehicle's modern aesthetic is further enhanced by bold alloy wheels, an integrated rear spoiler, and flush-fitting door handles. Practicality meets style with the charging port conveniently located on the left front fender.
Inside, the Windsor EV promises a blend of comfort and sophistication. The cabin will boast a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, and ambient lighting to create an inviting atmosphere. A standout feature is the rear "aero-lounge" seats, which will offer a luxurious 135-degree recline. The interior is finished in black upholstery, aimed at delivering a premium feel throughout.

On the technical front, the MG Windsor EV is available in the global market with two battery options: a 50.6 kWh unit claiming a range of 460 km and a 37.9 kWh variant that can do 360 km of range. However, it remains to be seen which of these configurations will be made available in the Indian market.
Upon its launch, the MG Windsor EV will compete in a growing electric vehicle segment, facing off against established rivals such as the Mahindra XUV400, Tata Nexon EV, and the lower variants of the Tata Curvv.ev. Poised as a crossover, the new Windsor is expected to carve out a niche among all.
