The new Audi Q5 will debut with extensive changes since it will be based on the new PPC architecture.
Audi is gearing up for a major product offensive, with 20 new launches planned by 2025. Half of these will be all-electric, signalling the brand's commitment to electrification. In a new development, Audi has just released the first teaser for its next-generation Q5, which will debut on September 2.
The teaser image focuses on the SUV's redesigned headlights, showcasing a sleeker, more elongated shape. LED daytime running lights stretch further, hinting at a bolder front fascia. Sharper edges on the lower bumper suggest a sportier, more aggressive stance for this SUV.
The new Q5 won't just be about looks. It will be built on Audi's new Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) architecture, promising more efficient engine options. Interestingly, this Q5 might be one of the last hurrahs for Audi's internal combustion lineup, as the company aims to go fully electric by 2033.
For Indian enthusiasts, the current Q5 received a facelift in 2021 and is assembled in Aurangabad. The company also introduced a 'Bold Edition' in July 2024 – check out the video below:
