Kia has started production of the second generation Seltos with the first unit rolling off the assembly line at the company’s Anantapur-based plant in Andhra Pradesh. The new-gen Kia Seltos made its debut a couple of weeks ago and its prices are slated to be officially announced on 2 January 2026. Bookings for the same are currently underway at all authorised Kia showrooms for a token amount of ₹25,000.
The Anantapur facility is Kia’s first manufacturing plant in India and serves as a significant global production hub. Established in 2019, it was the birthplace of the Kia Seltos. Designed to cater to both domestic requirements and export markets, the plant is equipped with advanced automation, stringent quality processes, and a highly skilled workforce.
The 2026 Kia Seltos will be offered in four standard trims — HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX — along with four option variants: HTE(O), HTK(O), HTX(A), and GTX(A). In addition, Kia is also offering the X-Line Styling pack exclusively for GTX and GTX(A) trims. Besides the X-Line Pack, Kia is also offering three add on packages such as Convenience, Premium, and ADAS.

The new-gen Kia Seltos is a stark departure from its predecessor. Besides the changes in design, the new Seltos is significantly larger than the outgoing model. Built on the new K3 platform, the 2026 kia Seltos is positioned as the longest model in its segment, measuring 4,460 mm in length, 1,830 mm in width, and 1,635 mm in height. The wheelbase has also been extended by 80 mm, now reaching 2,690 mm.
