Based on Renault Triber (starting price ₹5.76 lakh), the new Nissan MPV is expected to be priced starting at around ₹5.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
Nissan will unveil its new MPV on 18 December 2025. The Japanese carmaker has been working on this vehicle, which is supposedly based on the Renault Triber, for a long time now. The company had shared a teaser of this compact MPV a few months ago, along with one for its other big upcoming launch — the Nissan Tekton — which is expected next. The latter is based on the upcoming third-gen Renault Duster.
Based on the teasers so far, the upcoming Nissan MPV features a muscular appearance highlighted by an all-black grille and knife blade-shaped headlamps that are expected to be LED units with integrated DRLs. A slim chrome strip sits above the Nissan badge, adding a touch of contrast to the front fascia. The front bumper appears robust, complemented by C-shaped styling elements. Nissan aims to blend SUV-inspired design cues with the practicality and comfort of an MPV. The model will be underpinned by the CMF-A platform.

Nissan is expected to design the cabin along the lines of the Magnite’s, incorporating a dual-tone interior theme. Anticipated features include an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, cruise control, six airbags, 360-degree cameras, a tyre pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, and electronic stability control. This 7-seater model will offer flexible seating arrangements, enabling 2-seater, 4-seater, 5-seater, or a full 7-seater configuration depending on passenger and cargo requirements.
The upcoming Nissan MPV will come in a single powertrain and no other options. Similar to the Triber, it will be equipped with a 1-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 71 bhp at 6,250 rpm and 96 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm. Transmission choices are likely to include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
