Bajaj has not made any other changes to the Pulsar NS125 besides adding this extra safety feature.
Bajaj Auto has enhanced its entry-level sports bike, the Pulsar NS125, with single-channel ABS, replacing the previous CBS system. This new variant has been launched at ₹1.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), and in its segment, it will have the likes of the Hero Xtreme 125R and the TVS Raider 125 as its prime competitors.
Bajaj has not made any other changes to the Pulsar NS125 besides the addition of this safety net. The 125cc air-cooled engine is the same too and it continues to push out 11.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 11 Nm at 7,000 rpm. Transmission duties are carried out by a 5-speed gearbox.
The rest of the bike is also the same, including the core features introduced last year, such as the new LED headlight cluster and the sporty split-seat design. The new fully digital console with smartphone connectivity for calls, messages, and navigation will continue with this variant, too.
While the Pulsar NS125 and Raider 125 maintain their established designs, the newer Xtreme 125R has brought fresh styling to the segment and has a nice premium appeal to it. Should the addition of single-channel ABS help the Pulsar NS125’s case with improved sales, remains to be seen.
