It has high level of armour and a detachable rain jacket present at standard
Royal Enfield has unveiled its latest offering under the Explorer riding gear series: the Explorer V4 Riding Jacket. It is a riding jacket for touring and adventure enthusiasts designed for comfort and safety on long rides.
It has a super-ventilated design with Superflow Mesh. This ensures optimal airflow and breathability in warm weather. It's made of durable 8000 MM Nylon. This material offers strong protection against the elements. It's designed for unpredictable weather conditions. But being an all-round jacket, the Explorer V4 packs a detachable rain jacket as well.

Safety is a top priority for Royal Enfield, and the Explorer V4 reflects this. It includes D3O Level 2 protectors at the shoulders and elbows. These provide excellent impact absorption in case of a fall. The jacket also has "Ergo Pro Tech Level 2 back armour" and pockets for optional chest protectors (sold separately). This caters to riders who want comprehensive protection.

The Royal Enfield Explorer V4 Riding Jacket is expected to come in various sizes to suit different rider preferences. The jacket is available in 3 colours - Neon green, grey, and black. The Neon green seems to have the best visual appeal, in our opinion, but the black and grey serve a more functional approach, dealing with dust and dirt during adventure shenanigans. The rain cover on all the colours has a neon and black dual-tone. At ₹ 11,500, this jacket seems like an expensive purchase, but the high level of armour and waterproofing adds to the value of the product.
