New Royal Enfield Himalayan - Here’s What We Expect

Royal Enfield has given us a first visual taste of the new Himalayan ADV. While we are going to be riding it soon, here's what we expect it to pack:

New Royal Enfield Himalayan: Launch

The global unveiling of the bike is supposed to take place at EICMA on November 7 and the India launch is likely to happen at Motoverse (RiderMania) in Goa on November 26.

New Royal Enfield Himalayan: Engine

In the engine department, we are expecting a liquid-cooled engine in the Royal Enfield family. As per the RTO registration document surfaced online earlier, the ADV is expected to be powered by a 452 cc engine that might make roughly 40 bhp of power and around 39-40 Nm of torque. There is a chance of seeing a 6-speed gearbox. The bike is also expected to get switchable ABS.

New Royal Enfield Himalayan: Features

There will be a bigger TFT console on display which might be an added functionality version of the current tripper navigation. Royal Enfield is expected to provide the Himalayan 452 with aluminium panniers and tubeless spoke wheels. This could be on sale right away but we are unclear on the status of that as of now.

Royal Enfield Himalayan: Price

The price of the bike is expected to be under Rs. 3 lakh (ex-showroom). The price of the Royal Enfield Himalayan might be slightly higher than the current outgoing version.

The Himalayan 452 will be offered in 5 new colours namely, hanle black, kamet white, slate himalayan salt, slate poppy blue and kaza brown
