The next-gen Bajaj Pulsar is expected to arrive with a new chassis, suspension, and subtle changes to the design.
The Bajaj Pulsar will be celebrating its 25th year in 2026, and Bajaj Auto is planning something big for the revered motorcycle nameplate. According to a recent report, the Pulsar Classic range is set to get an overhaul with the next-generation slated to debut next year. The Bajaj Pulsar range is broadly classified into three sub-brands - NS, N, and Classic - each addressing a different customer base.
While the Pulsar NS and Pulsar N models are arguably more advanced machines, the Classic still remains a strong seller despite the dated looks and simple tech on board. The next-generation is expected to continue with the same formula, updating the underpinnings while retaining the current styling.

The report suggests the new Classic Pulsars will move to a new chassis with the engine mounted as a stressed member. In comparison, the current Classic Pulsars use a double-cradle frame with twin rear-shock absorbers. The new chassis will also bring a monoshock rear suspension to the commuter range, possibly from the new Pulsar N lineup. Notably, the Pulsar N 125 strikes a good balance between ride and handling, and it should do something similar on the new classic bikes as well. Bajaj is also expected to update the engines - 125 cc and 150 cc - to meet the latest emission and compliance regulations.
Furthermore, the report suggests that Bajaj won’t tinker around too much with the ‘Wolf Eye’ design that has been synonymous with the Classic Pulsars since 2006. With the design completing the 20-year mark next year, it is expected to get a nip and tuck, along with evolutionary changes to give the bikes a fresher appeal.
The Classic Pulsars still contribute significantly to the overall volumes, and the updates should help add more years to the range. Other additions likely include LED lighting, a digital console, Bluetooth connectivity, and more.
The source states the next-generation Bajaj Pulsar Classic range will arrive by August, right in time for the festive season. Expect prices to remain competitive on the new range when they arrive.
