Riding high on the success of the Nissan Magnite AMT, the company has extended its introductory price of ₹6.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) until November 30, 2023. Launched last month, the Nissan Magnite is available with either a naturally aspirated or a turbo petrol engine coupled to both manual and automatic transmissions. Rivalling the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Renault Kiger in the subcompact SUV space, the Nissan Magnite claims to be the most affordable vehicle in its class.
The model includes features such as dual driving mode, creep function, anti-stall, and kick-down features for a sporty drive experience. The 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine offers a fuel efficiency of 19.70 kmpl for the EZ-Shift variant.
The Magnite EZ-Shift is available in XE, XL, XV, XV Premium variants, and the Nissan Magnite KURO Special Edition. A dual-tone Blue and black colour option is specific to the Nissan Magnite EZ-Shift.
Exported to 15 global markets, the Nissan Magnite has recently launched in Seychelles, Bangladesh, Uganda, and Brunei, expanding its international presence along with India operations. Nissan India has redirected its primary export focus from Europe to the Middle Eastern countries of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
Nissan Magnite is available with two engine options- a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine generating 71 bhp and 96 Nm of torque, coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an AMT, whereas, the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine offers the choice of a 5-speed manual or a CVT unit, delivering 99 bhp and 152 Nm of torque.
The prices of the Nissan Magnite range from ₹5.99 lakh to ₹10.86 lakh (ex-showroom, India) for the top end variant. The pricing for the special edition of the crossover ranges from ₹8.27 lakh to ₹10.46 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
