The latest software update introduces "Luna AI", billed as an AI wellness coach.
Noise has announced a major upgrade to its Luna Ring smart ring with new artificial intelligence-powered health tracking capabilities. The company also revealed the strategic acquisition of women-focused wellness platform SocialBoat.
The latest software update introduces "Luna AI", billed as an AI wellness coach that aims to personalize the user experience on the Luna Ring. Through algorithms trained on data from over 20 million users, Luna AI provides customized fitness routines, nutrition plans, and insights based on individual activity levels, health goals, sleep patterns and other biometrics.
Some new AI-driven features offered through Luna AI include an "Ask Anything" function to query various health metrics, "Body Insights" to gain a deeper understanding of signals and rhythms with personalized advice, and a "Personal Coach and Nutritionist" to optimize health. The new AI features are currently in beta testing and are expected to be rolled out to all users in the next 1-2 weeks.
Noise revealed it has integrated SocialBoat's expertise in AI and women's health to enrich the Luna Ring's tracking, particularly for female users. SocialBoat utilizes AI to deliver personalized nutrition, fitness, and menstrual health recommendations, which will allow the Luna Ring to offer more tailored wellness guidance. SocialBoat's co-founder and CEO Swapnil Vats will join Noise to help further advance the Luna Ring.
