Nothing Phone (2a) officially teased to launch soon in India

Nothing Phone (2a) has officially been teased by the company. In a community update posted on its website, Nothing confirmed the Phone 2a will launch soon. While full specifications are still under wraps, Phone (2a) is codenamed "Aerodactyl" and touted as an upgrade over Nothing's first Phone, the Phone (1). It is also said to bring some of the features from the Phone (2) and target the mid-range segment.

Nothing has set up a dedicated page on its Indian website but has not yet revealed a firm launch date. Though, there are rumours about its debut at MWC 2024 in Barcelona.

Nothing Phone (2a) rumoured specifications

Rumoured specs include a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood will likely be a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Previous leaks also indicate a dual rear system with two 50MP sensors - a Samsung S5KNG9 main and a Samsung S5JN1 ultrawide. On the front will be a 32MP Sony IMX615 selfie shooter. The Phone 2a is expected to be powered by the Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14.
