The new Rorr EZ Sigma slots between the low-cost Oben Rorr EZ and premium Rorr.
Bengaluru-based, Oben Electric has expanded its electric bike portfolio with the launch of the new Oben Rorr EZ Sigma electric motorcycle. It slots between the Oben Rorr EZ and the top-spec Oben Rorr and will be available with the 3.4 kWh and 4.4 kWh battery pack options.
With the 3.4 kW pack, the mid-spec Oben Rorr EX Sigma has been launched at a special introductory price of ₹1.27 lakh, while the latter will cost you ₹1.37 lakh (both ex-showroom price, Bengaluru) . While Oben has not mentioned as to how long the introductory prices will be valid for, eventually these variants will cost you ₹1.47 lakh and ₹1.55 lakh, respectively. The claimed range is 140 km/175 km, depending on the choice of battery, which supports fast charging as well. 0-80 percent charge can be done in an hour and a half via fast charging.
Since the newly launched Oben Rorr EZ Sigma slots above the Rorr EZ, there are a few additional features on offer here. For starters, you get a bigger, more intuitive 5-inch TFT console with built-in navigation, trip meter, and real-time alerts for calls, messages and music. Plus, there’s reverse mode available as standard too, in addition to standard ride modes – Eco, City, and Havoc.
Beyond that, the Oben Rorr EZ Sigma looks the same as the other two variants, except for the addition of a new Electric Red Colour. Both battery packs on offer here come paired to the same 7.5 kW electric motor, the same as the Rorr EZ, which produces 52 Nm. This allows the electric bike to accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 3.3 seconds and can reach a top speed of 95 kmph.
