OnePlus Confirms Launch of Buds 3 Alongside Flagship OnePlus 12 Series

OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch the third generation of its flagship truly wireless earbuds, the OnePlus Buds 3, in India on January 23, 2024. The earbuds will make their global debut alongside the much anticipated OnePlus 12 and 12R smartphones.

The OnePlus Buds 3 has dual dynamic drivers, including a 10.4mm woofer paired with a 6mm tweeter. This driver combination promises a wide frequency range from 15Hz to 40KHz, delivering powerful bass, crisp trebles and richer vocals. The earbuds also feature active noise cancellation of up to 49dB for an immersive audio experience.

Some key specifications of the OnePlus Buds 3 include metallic coating with a matte finish, weighing 4.8g each. The touch controls have been redesigned for more intuitive volume adjustments. Customers will be able to choose from Splendid Blue and Metallic Gray colour options.

Meanwhile, the OnePlus 12 will boast a 2K 120Hz AMOLED display, the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up to 24GB RAM, and 1TB of storage. It is said to offer the fastest charging in its segment with 100W SuperVOOC. The Hasselblad triple camera system will be headlined by a 50MP Sony camera sensor.

The OnePlus "Smooth Beyond Belief" launch event will take place at 7:30 PM IST on January 23, 2024, where the OnePlus 12 series and Buds 3 will make their debut.
