Leaked renders offer a sneak peek into the future of OnePlus foldable smartphones.
The OnePlus V Fold has been in the news for quite some time now, with OnePlus even teasing it during its OnePlus 11 launch earlier this year. Smartprix, in an exclusive collaboration with renowned industry insider Steve 'OnLeaks' Hemmerstoffer, has obtained the first look at the upcoming OnePlus V Fold, offering a sneak peek into the future of OnePlus foldable smartphones. While OnePlus has been tight-lipped about the specifics of its foldable device, these detailed renders provide a glimpse into its design elements and features.
Amidst rumours suggesting OnePlus may rebrand the OPPO Find N2 as its foldable offering, Smartprix debunks these claims with certainty. The obtained images, featuring a prototype unit in the testing stage, showcase a design distinct from the OPPO Find N2.

One of the standout features of the OnePlus V Fold is its impressive faux leather back. The renders also reveal a triple rear camera system with the renowned Hasselblad branding. The V Fold is also shown to include a periscope lens giving it optical zoom capabilities akin to many flagship phones. The rear camera flash is positioned outside the camera island, giving it a distinct look.
The OnePlus V Fold also incorporates the beloved alert slider, a signature feature in OnePlus' flagship devices. Moreover, the power button seamlessly integrates a fingerprint sensor, and the front of the device features a large screen with slim bezels, offering an immersive visual experience.
The OnePlus V Fold also has a front-facing camera positioned at the centre of the front screen. Upon unfolding the device, users will find an additional inner selfie camera in the left-side corner. These renders also confirm the presence of a triple speaker system.
The book-style hinge mechanism draws inspiration from OPPO's Find N2 and Samsung's Galaxy Z Foldable phones.
It is worth noting that while the renders primarily showcase a prototype featuring a faux leather finish, OnePlus may introduce variants of the OnePlus V Fold that utilize more traditional and premium materials such as metal or glass.

The OnePlus V Fold is expected to deliver flagship-level performance with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 2 processor. Additionally, rumours suggest that the OnePlus V Fold will sport a 2K 120Hz AMOLED (LTPO) display.
The OnePlus V Fold is also expected to boast an impressive camera setup with Hasselblad tuning. The device is equipped with a powerful 50MP (IMX 890) primary camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a periscope lens. Upfront, there is a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
OnePlus has equipped the V Fold with a robust Li-Po 4800mAh battery, capable of powering the device for daily use. Additionally, it offers 100W SuperVOOC fast charging technology.
OnePlus has officially confirmed that the OnePlus V Fold is set to launch in the latter part of the third quarter of 2023. As per industry sources, the device may hit the markets early in August in India, China, and the United States of America.
