PMI Electro Mobility has deployed over 200 electric buses in Ayodhya to help with the movement of dignitaries, pilgrims and residents of the city. These buses have been deployed for the occasion of concentration of the Shri Ram Mandir. Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, flagged off 50 electric buses in Ayodhya on January 14.
Aanchal Jain, Chief Executive Officer, PMI Electro Mobility, said, “With our 203 e-Buses now plying in the holy city of Ayodhya, we are aiming at adding more convenience and safe transit for the devotees and local citizens. As an organization, we are deeply honoured by the bestowed privilege from the state administration, allowing us to be an integral part of this extraordinary moment ahead of the consecration of Shri Ram Mandir.”
PMI Electro Mobility claims its 700 electric buses will help reduce carbon emissions by more than 11,000 tons and will help save more than 1.62 crore litres of diesel.
Recently, PMI Electro Mobility completed a year of deployment of 19 electric buses in Ladakh, which have covered over 10.50 lakh km. With this, the electric bus manufacturer claims that it has reduced CO2 emissions by 25.20 lakh kgs in a year of their deployment in Ladakh.
