Porsche has announced prices for the new Cayenne Black Edition and Cayenne Coupe Black Edition in India. The Cayenne Black Edition is priced at ₹1.80 crore, while the Cayenne Coupe Black Edition costs ₹1.87 crore (ex-showroom). Both models receive cosmetic upgrades over their standard counterparts, but no changes under the hood.

| Model | Black Edition Price | Standard Price | Difference |
| Porsche Cayenne | ₹1.80 crore | ₹1.42 crore | ₹38 lakh |
| Porsche Cayenne Coupe | ₹1.87 crore | ₹1.49 crore | ₹38 lakh |
Both Black Editions continue to be powered by the same 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine that delivers 348 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, with power sent to all four wheels. Performance remains identical to the standard Cayenne range.

The Black Editions feature 21-inch RS Spyder alloy wheels, blacked-out badges, darkened headlamp housings, wing mirrors, and window trim. Additional touches include a dark bronze finish for the exhaust tips and standard LED puddle lamps. While 'black' is the headline theme, Porsche also offers six other colours at no extra cost, such as White, Carrara White Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, Quartzite Grey Metallic, Carmine Red, and Cashmere Beige Metallic. Optional paints start at ₹7.30 lakh, while bespoke colours from Porsche’s Exclusive Manufaktur line begin at ₹20.13 lakh.

Inside, the Black Editions offer an all-black cabin with leather upholstery, black brushed aluminium trim, and illuminated door sills. Equipment highlights include 14-way power-adjustable front seats, a panoramic sunroof, multifunction steering wheel, and a 14-speaker, 710W Bose sound system—all of which are shared with the regular Cayenne lineup.

Models | Prices (ex-showroom, India) |
|---|---|
| Porsche Cayenne Black Edition | ₹1.80 crore |
| Range Rover Sport | ₹1.45 crore |
| Mercedes-Benz GLE | ₹1.14 crore |
| BMW X5 | ₹1.10 crore |
Models | Prices (ex-showroom, India) |
|---|---|
| Porsche Cayenne Coupe Black Edition | ₹1.87 crore |
| Mercedes-AMG GLE Coupe | ₹1.87 crore |
| Audi Q8 | ₹1.17 crore |
The Cayenne Black Edition caters to buyers seeking exclusivity and visual distinction without any compromise in the core driving experience. However, the steep price hike puts it in competition with more powerful or feature-loaded models, making it more of a statement in style than a step-up in value.
