Rahul Gandhi Rides KTM 390 Adventure In Ladakh

Rahul Gandhi is a certified petrolhead and that’s no secret. Recently in an interview he had expressed his love for 2-stroke motorcycles and mentioned that the Yamaha RD 350 is among his most favourite motorcycles that he has owned and ridden. Recently the Congress leader posted on social media some snaps from his ongoing ride in Ladakh.

In the pictures posted, Rahul can be seen riding with a bunch of fellow KTM riders and they all are riding the KTM 390 Adventure. What’s more interesting and worth mentioning is that Rahul Gandhi is wearing proper and high-grade riding gear for this trip including a proper off-road helmet.

Kudos to Rahul and hope this sends out a positive message to fellow bikers to ride with riding gear. The KTM 390 Adventure used for the ride is the standard version with alloy wheels and off-road tyres. The 390 ADV is among the most powerful and affordable bikes in the entry-level adventure segment and is priced at Rs 3.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

The ride to Ladakh is a special one for Rahul Gandhi as he plans to celebrate his late father, former Prime Minister of India, Rajiv Gandhi’s birthday in Pangong Tso Lake in Ladakh. The Congress MP had mentioned that according to his father Pangong Tso Lake is among the most beautiful places he has visited and as a tribute to his father, he’s riding to the lake.
