The new Realme 12 Pro series brings upgraded specs like a periscope telephoto camera, faster charging and IP rating.
Realme has launched its latest number series smartphones, the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ in India. The new series succeeds last year's Realme 11 Pro lineup and brings upgraded specs like a periscope telephoto sensor, faster charging and IP rating.
Realme 12 Pro+ in Submarine Blue
Both Realme 12 Pro phones feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. They get an IP65 water and dust resistance rating as well. The Realme 12 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC while the Realme 12 Pro uses the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset.
In terms of optics, the Realme 12 Pro+ has a 50MP primary camera, 64MP periscope telephoto lens, and 8MP ultra-wide shooter. The selfie camera is a 32MP Sony sensor. The Pro model houses a similar camera setup but has a 32MP telephoto camera and a 16MP selfie camera.

Other specs include up to 12GB RAM/256GB storage for the 12 Pro+ and up to 8GB/256GB storage for the 12 Pro, a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging support, and Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 out-of-the-box.
The Realme 12 Pro is priced at Rs 25,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and Rs 26,999 for the 8GB/256GB model. It comes in Submarine Blue and Navigator Beige colours.
The higher-end Realme 12 Pro+ carries a starting price tag of Rs 29,999 for the 8GB/128GB version. The 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs 31,999, while the top-of-the-line 12GB/256GB model is priced at Rs 33,999. It comes in Submariner Blue, Navigator Beige, and Explorer Red shades. The Explorer Red colour variant will go on sale from February 9.
The first sale of the Realme 12 Pro series will be held on February 6 via Realme.com, Flipkart and major retail stores.
