With the facelift, the Kiger gets new variant nomenclature too and has four trims – Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion.
Renault India has launched the Kiger facelift in India at ₹6.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With the facelift, the Kiger also gets a new variant nomenclature. From RXE, RXL, RXT and RXZ, the Kiger’s variants are now called Authentic, Evolution, Techno and Emotion, very similar to the new Triber facelift. Let’s take a look at what each variant gets.
Price: ₹6.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Powertrain: 1.0-litre petrol MT
Price: ₹7.10 - 7.60 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Powertrain: 1.0-litre petrol MT, 1.0-litre petrol AMT

In addition to Techno, it gets
The Techno is a solid budget-friendly option. However, opting for the top-spec Emotion is also highly recommended, as it offers numerous features (like ventilated seats, auto headlamps and wipers) without being prohibitively expensive.
The Kiger sits in a very cut-throat sub-compact SUV segment which means it faces competition from the likes of the Nissan Magnite (₹6.14 - 11.76 lakh), Tata Punch (₹6.20 - 10.17 lakh), Hyundai Exter (₹6 - 10.20 lakh), Maruti Suzuki Brezza (₹8.69 - 13.98 lakh), Maruti Suzuki Fronx (₹7.94 - 13.11 lakh), Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor (₹7.88 - 13.02 lakh), Hyundai Venue (₹7.94 - 13.38 lakh) and Kia Sonet (₹8 - 15.74 lakh).
