The Gurugram-based manufacturer aims to establish 90 dealerships in Sri Lanka by 2029.
Revolt Motors has announced its expansion into Sri Lanka, thus marking its debut in a foreign territory. The Gurugram-based manufacturer has partnered with Evolution Auto Pvt. Ltd. to retail its full portfolio of electric motorcycles, including the RV400 series in the island nation.
The announcement comes on the heels of a successful showcase at the Colombo EV Expo earlier this year, where the Indian brand received positive response from the audience. Revolt Motors aims to establish a network of 90 dealerships across Sri Lanka by 2029 as part of its ambitious strategy. At the same time, the first phase of this plan includes opening 15 dealerships within the next four months. Moreover, down the line, Revolt Motors will gradually expand to other key regions across Sri Lanka.
Speaking on this foreign expansion and its first foreign debut, Anjali Rattan, Chairperson of RattanIndia Enterprises Limited, the parent company of Revolt Motors, said, “Our entry into Sri Lanka is not just a business move; it is a commitment to driving the global transition to sustainable mobility. We are confident that the people of Sri Lanka will embrace the freedom, innovation, and environmental consciousness that Revolt Motors stands for. This is just the beginning of our journey in making clean and efficient transportation accessible to everyone.”
On the other hand, Revolt Motors is gearing up to launch another new motorcycle in India. The spec sheet for the upcoming motorcycle has already leaked online, and going by the numbers we can safely conclude that this upcoming model will be the brand’s new entry-level offering.
