It will use the Bullet 350 as its base but with subtle ergonomic changes to suit the bobber look
While the pricing announcement of the Shotgun 650 is just around the corner, spy shots of a smaller capacity bobber from Royal Enfield have surfaced online. This seems to be a bobber based on the Classic 350 and Bullet 350.
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber, likely to be called the Shotgun 350, will draw some of its styling inspiration from the Shotgun 650. It will feature an mini-ape hanger handlebar and a floating seat for the pillion, which we anticipate will be removable. White-walled wheels will add another quirky touch.
The engine is the same as the other J-series bikes: a 349 cc single making 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm. The hardware comprises telescopic front fork, dual rear shocks, disc brakes at both ends, and spoke wheels fitted with road-biased tyres.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 350 is expected to have a price tag exceeding ₹ 2 lakh. A clear rival to this bike is the Jawa 42 Bobber and the Perak, as these are the only two pukka bobbers in the country in this class.
