Royal Enfield’s new 750 cc platform is expected to debut either in the production-spec Continental GT 750 or Himalayan 750 most probably late 2026.
The Motoverse in Goa is an occasion to get a sneak peek into Royal Enfield’s future developments and the 2025 edition was no different. The Chennai-based bikemaker showcased quite a few interesting projects, one of them was the Continental GT-R 750 race bike — a full-blown race-spec cafe racer.
But before you get your hopes high, this bike will not make it to the market, since it isn’t road legal. The upcoming Continental GT-R 750 will replace the GT-R 650 race bike in the coming season of the Royal Enfield Conti GT Cup. The unit on display at the Motoverse came with a “Testing in Progress” tag on it.
Although this model isn’t intended to go on sale, Royal Enfield does have plans to upgrade the entire 650 cc range to a larger 750 cc engine, which means the current Continental GT 650 will also upgrade to a 750 cc model in the future. Hence, learnings from this race-spec Continental GT-R 750 could be utilised in the production-spec, road-legal Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750.

Finished in a striking Red shade, the GT-R 750 exudes a distinctly sporty character. Enhancing its café racer-inspired design, the motorcycle features a semi-fairing and a single-piece seat with a rear hump that proudly carries the Royal Enfield badge alongside Harris Performance branding. Many of these design elements are likely to appear on the production-spec GT-R 750 as well.
While the race-spec model didn't have any headlight, taillight or turn indicators, the production-spec Continental GT 750 is expected to come with a circular LED headlight setup along with a circular taillight and turn indicators. Besides the small cosmetic tweaks, the latest iteration of the race-spec Continental GT-R gets some updated mechanicals as well.
For starters, the new Continental GT-R 750 prototype is running a new chassis, redesigned steering T, and new Showa suspension setup at both ends with telescopic front fork and twin rear shocks. Other notable highlights seen in the GT-R 750 include Bybre callipers, free-flowing dual exhausts and a sleek tail section. Anchorage duties will be handled by twin front discs and a single rear disc.
Like the current Continental GT-R 650, the new Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750 race bike runs on 18-inch alloy wheels on both ends wrapped in 110/80-18 front and 150/65-18 rear sticky slick tyres for maximum traction on dry asphalt.
Powering the Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750 is a new 750 cc, parallel-twin engine that has been derived from the current 648 cc parallel-twin by enlarging the bore. Although Enfield is yet to officially reveal the exact output figures from this motor, it will certainly dish out more than the 47 bhp and 52.3 Nm of peak torque produced by the present 650 cc lineup. This engine will be paired with a 6-speed gearbox via a slip and assist clutch.
