Samsung has officially launched its latest Galaxy Tab A9 series tablets in India at an affordable price point. The new lineup includes the Galaxy Tab A9 and the larger Galaxy Tab A9+, available in 8.7-inch and 11-inch display sizes, respectively. Both tablets aim to deliver an immersive entertainment and productivity experience.
The Galaxy Tab A9 lineup features expansive screens and sleek, unibody metal designs. The tablets are engineered for entertainment, with the A9+ supporting a 90Hz refresh rate and Quad Dolby Atmos speakers for cinematic viewing. The Mediatek Helio G99 processor powers the A9, while the A9+ rocks a Snapdragon 695 chipset. Both models pack ample memory and storage and LTE or 5G connectivity for video streaming and web surfing on the go.
Productivity is also a focus, with features like Samsung DeX, multi-window support and an integrated screen recorder to enhance multitasking capabilities. The tablets enable seamless connectivity across the Samsung Galaxy ecosystem, allowing quick content sharing between mobile, tablet and TV.
Samsung has also prioritized security, with the tablets protected by Samsung Knox defense-grade security. Parents can manage their kids' access through Samsung Kids parental controls.
The tablets will be available starting October 23 in India, with the A9 starting at ₹12,999 and the A9+ at ₹20,999.
