Simple Energy rolled out its first electric two-wheeler- the Simple One - from its Shoolagiri facility in Tamil Nadu. The company will officially launch the Simple One electric scooter on May 23. The company has also said that deliveries of the Simple One will begin soon after the launch.
The Simple One is the company’s flagship model and it will be one of the few electric scooters to offer a long range. The company says that the range will be around 236 km on a single charge. The 4.8 kWh battery pack generates 6 bhp and 72 Nm of torque. It comes with a touchscreen instrument cluster and boasts of various functionalities and app connectivity.
Last year when the company announced the price of the Simple One, it was between Rs. 1.10 lakh to Rs. 1.45 lakh. However, expect the price to be higher this time around.
