Skoda Auto has manufactured the 100,000th unit of the Elroq. The vehicle is an SUV that runs on electricity. Staff at the factory in Mlada Boleslav completed the car on November 27, 2025. This specific vehicle features the vRS badge and paint in the shade of Hyper Green. Manufacturing of the Elroq began at the start of 2025.
The facility in Mlada Boleslav builds the Elroq on a line with flexibility. This line also assembles the Enyaq and the Octavia. Use of one line allows the company to match output to demand from customers. Andreas Dick, a member of the Board for Production and Logistics, praised the speed of the milestone. He noted that the team achieved this total in under a year. The executive highlighted the preparation and adaptations to the processes at the plant.
Customers in Europe have bought the Elroq in numbers. Data from the first three quarters of 2025 places the vehicle at rank two for sales of cars with battery power in Europe. The model holds the title 'German Car of the Year 2026'. Juries also gave the SUV the Red Dot Design Award. Demand remains at a peak in markets like the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands. In the UK, the Elroq accounts for 12% of sales for the year to date.

The car features the design language known as Modern Solid. This design is a first for a production model from the brand. The Elroq shares the platform known as MEB with other vehicles in the group. The plant in the Czech Republic is the only site in Europe where the group builds cars with engines and cars with batteries on the same line.
In Germany, the Elroq topped the charts for registrations in October. The vehicle also led sales lists in April and July.
The milestone of 100,000 units underscores the interest in SUVs with battery power from Skoda. Deliveries of cars with batteries reached nearly 120,000 in the first three quarters of 2025. The Elroq is ranked as the top seller in the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Slovakia. It also ranked in the top three in Austria and Switzerland.

The Enyaq, the larger sibling of the Elroq, has also seen significant production volumes since its launch in late 2020. Skoda Auto produced the 200,000th Enyaq in February 2024, a milestone reached roughly three years and three months after production began. In contrast, the Elroq reached the 100,000-unit mark in less than one year of production, highlighting a faster initial ramp-up. While the Enyaq established the presence of the brand in the electric market, the Elroq has rapidly accelerated volume, leveraging the established manufacturing capabilities of the Mlada Boleslav plant. Both models share the same assembly line, but the Elroq has achieved its first major production milestone in a fraction of the time taken by its predecessor.
