Skoda Kushaq Onyx Automatic Launched At ₹13.49 Lakh

Skoda Auto India has launched a new automatic variant of the Kushaq Onyx Edition, priced at ₹13.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Onyx Edition is now the most affordable variant of the Kushaq that gets an automatic transmission, ₹2.35 lakh less than the Ambition automatic variant.

The Onyx Edition was first introduced in 2023 but only came with a manual gearbox, which is priced at ₹12.89 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is solely powered by the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 114 bhp and 178Nm and is now available with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. 

Furthermore, with the Oynx Edition, the Kushaq is now the second-most affordable compact SUV in India that comes with an automatic transmission. Only the Citroën C3 Aircross automatic is more affordable and it is priced at ₹12.91 lakh (ex-showroom, India)

Cosmetically, the Kushaq Onyx Edition gets wheel covers for its 16-inch steel wheels and Onyx badges on the B-pillar. Furthermore, it also gets LED headlamps with DRLs. As for features, it comes with hill hold assist, paddle shifters, automatic climate control along with Onyx badges on the side sills and floor mats.
