Rapture Innovation Labs has officially launched the Sonic Lamb Headphones in India featuring Hybrid Driver Technology to deliver a high-fidelity, fully immersive audio experience.
The Sonic Lamb headphones combine traditional headphone drivers for mids and highs with a proprietary impulse driver that translates low frequencies into mechanical vibrations. These vibrations are transferred through the ear pads, called Wooferpads, emulating a subwoofer typically found in high-end speaker systems.
Navajith Karkera, Co-Founder and CEO of Rapture, said, "We're excited to present Sonic Lamb Headphones, a culmination of innovation, passion and perseverance of 4 years reshaping personal audio experience. Sonic Lamb is set to revolutionize music and entertainment globally, offering a new way of experiencing sound on headphones like never before."
Rapture's founders— Navajith Karkera and Jagath Biddappa, invented the Hybrid Driver Acoustics system after identifying a fundamental gap in current headphone technology.
While regular headphones transmit sound through the air into each ear, they cannot reproduce the physical experience of low frequencies that full-range speakers provide. Sonic Lamb aims to bridge this gap by harnessing air, bone and skin conduction - allowing users to feel the bass and low frequencies.
The Sonic Lamb headphones have been tested and tuned in Denmark at Sound Hub, co-founded by Bang & Olufsen, Harman Lifestyle, Aalborg University, and Struer Municipality.
Jagath Biddappa, Co-Founder and CTO, commented, "Our Hybrid Driver Acoustics is a game-changing breakthrough, blending hearing and feeling music, adding a new dimension to personal audio experience. It's a homegrown product that will transform how music and headphone lover experience sound across the world."
Sonic Lamb Headphones key features include:
Four listening modes to personalize audio based on music genre and use case
Multipoint Bluetooth connectivity to two devices simultaneously
Detachable boom microphone for gaming and professional use
Digital audio interface for both charging and high-resolution wired playback
Sonic Lamb Companion app for custom sound profiles tuned to individual hearing
Sonic Lamb headphones will be available in three colours— Obsidian Black, Ember Gray & Moonstone White on soniclamb.com starting at ₹19,999. As part of the launch offer, the first 1000 customers can buy it at the inaugural price of ₹ 15,999.
