Suzuki Motorcycle India Sees 26% Sales Growth in December 2025, Exports Rise 37%

The export division delivered strong results, with overseas sales totalling 24,543 units -- a substantial 37 per cent increase over the 17,970 units shipped in December 2024. 

Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL) announced robust sales performance for December 2025, with total unit sales reaching 1,22,366 units -- a 26 per cent year-on-year increase from 96,804 units sold in December 2024. The company disclosed these figures on 2nd January 2026 from its Gurugram headquarters.

The Indian subsidiary of Japan's Suzuki Motor Corporation recorded domestic sales of 97,823 units during December 2025, marking a 24 per cent rise compared with 78,834 units sold in the same month of the previous year.

The export division delivered strong results, with overseas sales totalling 24,543 units -- a substantial 37 per cent increase over the 17,970 units shipped in December 2024. This performance significantly outpaced domestic growth rates, highlighting the company's expanding international footprint.

The manufacturer's spare parts business achieved a milestone performance, generating record revenue of ₹961 million (₹96.1 crore) in December 2025. This is a 16 per cent growth compared to the previous year, contributing positively to the company's overall business momentum across all segments.

Deepak Mutreja, Vice President - Sales & Marketing at Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited, commented on the results and future direction:

Customer Engagement Initiatives

Throughout December 2025, SMIPL executed several customer-focused initiatives designed to strengthen brand loyalty and community connections.

The company organised the Suzuki Access Mileage Contest in Krishnanagar, West Bengal, and Palwal, Haryana, which drew participation from 70 riders competing for fuel efficiency achievements.

Additionally, SMIPL conducted the GIXXER Pit Stop programme across three major cities -- Cochin, Chennai, and Bangalore. This multi-city initiative engaged approximately 150 motorcycle enthusiasts through a combination of test ride experiences, maintenance workshops, and community networking events with local GIXXER Club members.

Manufacturing Capabilities

The company maintains its production operations at the Kherki Daula facility in Gurugram, Haryana. The manufacturing plant possesses an annual production capacity of 1.3 million units, dedicated to producing both scooters and premium motorcycles tailored for the Indian market.
