The Altroz facelift gets a new variant naming system and new colours.
Tata Motors has revealed the Altroz facelift ahead of its launch on May 22, 2025. The Altroz facelift gets a very differentiated design language compared to the outgoing model, with many features and a new variant naming system.
The Altroz facelift's variants, or Personas as Tata Motors like to call them, will now be called Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished and Accomplished + S. This naming system has also been employed in the Nexon, Nexon EV, Punch, Punch EV, Curvv, Curvv EV, Harrier and Safari. Only the Tiago, Tiago EV, Tigor, and Tigor EV have yet to get this naming system.
Tata Motors' premium hatchback will get features like a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, 10.25-inch virtual cluster, touch-based HVAC control panel, single-pane sunroof, air purifier, rear AC vents, a wireless charger, ambient lighting, cruise control, 360-degree camera, LED headlamps, LED fog lamps and connected car tech. Safety features on the new Altroz facelift include six airbags, blind spot monitor and more.
Powertrain details of the Altroz facelift are yet to be revealed, but expect it to remain largely unchanged compared to the outgoing model. It is expected to get a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine as well as a 1.5-litre diesel engine. Transmission options are likely to include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
The Altroz facelift will rival the likes of the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Toyota Glanza. Expect the Altroz facelift to be priced between ₹7-12 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
