Simplifying battery buying and servicing for two-wheeler consumers across the country.
Tata AutoComp GY Batteries, known as Tata Green Batteries, has officially partnered with TVS Motor, a prominent two and three-wheeler manufacturer in India. The collaboration's primary goal is to enhance the battery buying and servicing process for TVS Motor customers nationwide.
As part of this association, Tata Green Batteries will be easily accessible through TVS Motors' authorised dealerships and service centres. The batteries for two-wheelers will feature co-branding with both Tata Green Batteries and the TVS logo.
The collaboration traces its roots back five years when Tata Green Batteries started supplying OEM batteries to TVS Motor at their Hosur plant. Recognizing the growing need to address the battery-related requirements of TVS Motors' nationwide customer base, a formal arrangement was established to provide high-performance Tata Green Batteries, leveraging the excellent service offered by TVS dealerships and workshops.
Speaking at the occasion, Rama Shankar Pandey, CEO, Tata Green Batteries said, “Tata Green Batteries has been one of the major OEM partners of TVS Motor with supplies to all major platforms of Two Wheelers. This landmark marks the extension of this relationship to the after-market space wherein it presents a great opportunity for both the companies for mutual growth by ensuring the best of services for the consumers.”
Commenting on the announcement, Mr Rajendra Bhatt, Senior Vice President – Service, TVS Motor said, “The growth of the two-wheeler industry is at a positive upswing in India. Today, customers seek all-encompassing solutions for their vehicles. With this strategic tie-up, Tata Green Batteries will be available across TVS Motor’ authorised dealerships in India. We are confident that this alliance will further strengthen a hassle-free experience for the consumers.”
