The Harrier EV is being built at Tata Motors’ plant in Pimpri, Pune.
Tata Motors’ electric vehicle (EV) division launched the Harrier EV in India a few weeks ago and it has now started at the Pimpri plant in Pune. Bookings for the Harrier EV commenced on July 2, and Tata Motors has already received more than 10,000 bookings. Deliveries for the Harrier EV will begin later this month too.
The first Harrier EV to roll off the production line at the Pune plant is finished in the Nainital Nocturne colour, and the other colours on offer are Empowered Oxide, Pristine White and Pure Grey. It can also be had in a Matte Black colour with the Stealth Edition. Prices for the standard Harrier EV range between ₹21.49 lakh and go up to ₹28.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India), while the Stealth Edition is priced between ₹28.24 - 29.74 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Harrier EV comes with two battery pack options – 65 kWh and 75 kWh – and also comes with all-wheel drive (AWD) with the 75 kWh. The Harrier EV is the first electric vehicle from Tata Motors to get an AWD system. The 65 kWh battery has a claimed range of up to 538 km, while the 75 kWh battery pack has a claimed range of up to 627 km. With the AWD, the range of the 75 kWh battery pack is up to 622 km on a full charge (claimed). To know more about the Harrier EV, head here.
