Tata Motors has dropped the teaser for the new Punch facelift on its social media handles, confirming the launch for January 13, 2026. The teaser showcases the visual changes on the Tata Punch facelift, which appears to get a revised front profile, restyled taillights and bumper, new alloy wheels, and more. The Punch was the 10th most-selling car in CY2025, dropping from the top spot in 2024. The updates are expected to rejuvenate sales for the micro SUV.

The teaser video reveals revised styling on the Punch facelift, heavily inspired by the new Nexon and Curvv models. The gloss black grille has received a subtle change, and continues to be flanked by LED DRLs. The chunky headlamp has been swapped for a smaller and sharper-looking projector lens unit, likely borrowed from the Nexon. The bumper has been redesigned with new vertically stacked fog lamps, a bigger intake, and new brushed silver skid plate. The profile is expected to remain the same save for the new alloy wheels, while the arrow-themed taillights have been swapped for new connected lights running across the tailgate.
Though not revealed yet, the Tata Punch facelift will come with a heavily revised interior sporting the two-spoke illuminated multi-function steering wheel, a redesigned dashboard with the bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is also likely, along with features such as a 360-degree camera, auto-folding ORVMs, and more.

The new Tata Punch is expected to continue with the same engine options. The current model draws power from the 1.2-litre three-cylinder petrol engine tuned for 86.7 bhp and 115 Nm of peak torque. The company also offers a CNG version with its twin-cylinder technology, which uses a detuned version of the motor tuned for 72.4 bhp and 103 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and AMT.
The Tata Punch is currently priced from Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards, and you can expect the facelifted model to arrive at a marginal premium pricing. More details on the new Punch facelift will be available on January 13.
