Toyota Kirloskar Motor Records Highest CY Sales With 19% Growth in 2025

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) closed calendar year 2025 by recording the highest-ever sales of 3,88,801 units, which is a growth of 19 per cent compared to the 3,26,329 units sold in CY 2024, the company announced on Thursday. Out of the 3,88,801 units of total sales in 2025, 3,51,580 units were sold in the domestic market with a growth of 17 per cent, while 37,221 units were exported out of the country with a growth of 42 per cent. 

In December 2025, TKM recorded total sales of 39,333 units compared to 29,529 units in December 2024, marking a Y-o-Y growth of 33 per cent. The domestic sales for December 2025 stood at 34,157 units, while exports accounted for 5176 units making it a total of 39,333 units.

“Overall, 2025 has been a meaningful year for Toyota, marked by stronger customer acceptance across our products and services, both in domestic and export markets resulting in a year-on-year growth of 19 per cent. This sustained performance has been driven by progressive GST reforms by the Government of India, strategic product enhancements and the introduction of new model variants."

We sincerely thank our customers for their trust and dealer partners for their unwavering support," Varinder Wadhwa, Vice-President, Sales-Service-Used Car Business and Profit Enhancement, said in a statement.

TKM attributed the record CY sales to a strong product mix across SUV, MPV and Compact segments that emerged as a key growth driver in 2025 with Innova Hycross, Fortuner, Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hilux, Urban Cruiser Taisor & Glanza delivering strong performance. 

TKM stated it will focus on strengthening its product portfolio, enhancing customer touchpoints, enriching the ownership experience and continue to engage youth with innovative campaigns in 2026.

Apart from this, the company added that the expansion of Toyota Used Car Outlets (TUCO), and value-added services like T CARE and T GLOSS offered hassle-free ownership experience gave way to higher customer confidence.
