The museum brings together Indian philosophy of mindful living with Japanese culture and technology under one roof.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has opened a museum at Phoenix Mall of Asia in Bengaluru. The museum opened on 23 November 2025. The space measures 8,200 square feet on the ground floor of the mall.

The Museum combines elements from Indian and Japanese cultures. The museum brings together Indian philosophy of mindful living with Japanese culture and technology under one roof. This reflects the belief that mobility and innovation go beyond vehicles.

The museum offers experiences through five senses. Visitors can see visuals, hear sounds, experience scents, feel textures, and taste flavours. The space features Japanese minimalism mixed with Indian warmth.

Tadashi Asazuma, Deputy Managing Director of Toyota Kirloskar Motor, said at the launch that the museum reflects the company's vision of creating experiences that connect people, cultures, and emotions. He said the museum draws inspiration from Sādhanā, an Indian practice of pursuing inner balance and fulfilment. The museum brings together Japanese culture and values with the spirit of Sādhanā.

The museum includes zones for visitors to explore. Rooms show the changing seasons through projections. A room features a water curtain surrounding a car draped in satin. The museum has a merchandise shop where visitors can buy collectibles. A matcha corner serves drinks made from Japanese matcha with Indian flavours, including a mango-infused version.

Other automobile makers have opened experience spaces in India. Hyundai opened Unity Hyundai in New Delhi in 2016 as India's first digital automotive experience outlet. Museum of Solutions in Mumbai opened Vroom, an automotive-themed floor in October 2025. BMW Group launched a Retail.NEXT experience showroom in Mumbai through Infinity Cars.
