With this new variant, the Rumion gets an automatic gearbox across the lineup.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched a new automatic gearbox variant of the Rumion MPV. The G AT variant is priced at ₹13 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and with this, all trim levels of the Rumion now get an automatic gearbox.
Earlier, the Rumion only got the 6-speed torque-converter automatic gearbox with the base-spec S trim and the top-spec V trim. In comparison, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, on which the Rumion is based, does not get the automatic gearbox on all trim levels. Notably, both do not get the automatic gearbox with the CNG powertrain.
