Beside this new colour option, the rest of the bike has remained the same.
Triumph India has introduced a new colour option for the Scram 400X called Lava Red Satin. Just like the Pearl Metallic White colour option that the bike had gained last year, the new bright shade of red will be visible on the tank only, with the Phantom Black ribbon running across. The rest of the body panels, which include the engine casing, side panels, headlight cowl, seat colour, down to the exhaust have all remained as it is.
What’s interesting here is that on Triumph’s official website the marque has the same red colour option listed as Volcanic Red, which was again earlier called Carnival Red. We are yet to see the colour in person, so maybe the finish on Lava Red Satin is different from before – or maybe the same must have been renamed again this year.

Beyond that, mechanically, the bike continues to be powered by the same 398.15 cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm, sent to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox. The Triumph Scrambler 400X was never the most feature-rich bike and sadly that hasn’t changed in 2025 too, carrying forward the same sem-analogue speedometer with an LCD screen integrated to it, without any smartphone connectivity whatsoever at all.
The asking price also remains unchanged and the 2025 Scrambler 400X will continue to be available at ₹2.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). However, moving forward we had exclusively reported Triumph is also working on a new, more hardcore version of the Scrambler 400 X called Triumph Scrambler 400 XC. This upcoming bike will distinguish itself with cross spoke wheels, and a bunch of few subtle, yet noticeable upgrades. Head to the link here for the full detailed report.
