The amount of price cut varies depending on the colour that one chooses.
Triumph Motorcycles has slashed prices for the Street Triple R. The Pure White and Silver Ice colour options of the middle-weight naked street bike are now priced at ₹ 9.95 lakh, a substantial ₹ 48,000 reduction from its previous price tag.
This price cut makes the Triumph Street Triple R a more attractive option for riders seeking a stylish and powerful street motorcycle. It's important to note that the price reduction is limited to specific colours. The Matt Baja Orange and Crystal White variants see a more modest price drop of ₹ 22,000, bringing the price down to ₹ 10.21 lakh.
However, there's a flip side to this news. While the Triumph Street Triple R gets a price cut, the higher-spec Triumph Street Triple RS sees a price increase for three of its colour options. The Phantom Black, Carnival Red, and Cosmic Yellow variants now cost ₹ 12.21 lakh, reflecting a price hike of ₹ 14,000. Interestingly, the Silver Ice colour option of the Triumph Street Triple RS bucks the trend and becomes cheaper by ₹ 12,000, now priced at ₹ 11.95 lakh.
Thankfully, the price revisions don't affect the core performance aspects of either motorcycle. Both the Triumph Street Triple R and RS retain their original thrilling ride experience. The 765cc, inline-three-cylinder engine continues to pump out 118.4 bhp on the R and 128.2 bhp on the RS. More importantly, the exceptional handling that these motorcycles are known for remains unchanged. The Triumph Street Triple R has a Showa Separate Function fork and a Showa monoshock, while the Triumph Street Triple RS steps it up with Showa Big Piston USD fork and an Öhlins piggyback reservoir monoshock. Both bikes offer riders full adjustability to personalise their suspension setup for optimal performance on any road.
Braking performance also remains impressive, with both motorcycles equipped with twin 310mm floating discs at the front. The Triumph Street Triple R uses Brembo M4.32 callipers, while the Triumph Street Triple RS gets the higher-spec Brembo Stylema callipers. Tyre options remain distinct between the two models. The Triumph Street Triple R comes with Continental ContiRoad tyres, while the Triumph Street Triple RS is shod with the grippier Pirelli Supercorsa SP V3 tyres. This difference reflects the slightly sportier nature of the RS.
The price changes have been implemented immediately and are applicable across all Triumph dealerships in India. If you've been eyeing a Triumph Street Triple, now might be the perfect time to visit your nearest showroom and check out the new pricing.
