Triumph Motorcycles has announced that it will stop absorbing the GST increase and will pass on the additional tax burden to customers starting 2026.

Triumph Motorcycles has stated that current ex-showroom prices for its entire model lineup will hold until 31 December 2025. A price adjustment will apply from 1 January 2026 across all models.

The company had previously absorbed the recent GST revision for motorcycles above 350 cc, opting not to pass on the increase to customers, and introduced 'Special Festive Prices' on the Speed 400 and Speed T4 models.

Manik Nangia, President, Probiking, Bajaj Auto Ltd., said the focus remains on delivering quality products and services. He urged customers to book before year-end to secure existing rates.

The brand has maintained pricing stability amid the GST changes, but rumours suggest Triumph may develop a sub-350 cc engine variant exclusively for India to mitigate future tax impacts on higher-capacity models.

At present, Triumph's most budget-friendly motorcycles in India are its 400 cc models, developed in partnership with Bajaj Auto. The lineup features the Speed 400, Speed T4, Scrambler 400 X/XC, and Thruxton 400.

Triumph partnered with Bajaj Auto in 2023, gaining strong response for the 400 cc models in the mid-capacity segment.
