The new Tiger 900 now has 108hp and 90Nm, marking an increase of 12 bhp and 3 Nm from the previous model.
Triumph Motorcycles revealed the 2024 Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro for the first time at the ongoing India Bike Week. Following the earlier announcement in late October, these adventure tourers are set for deliveries starting March 2024.
The upgraded 888 cc in-line three-cylinder engine powers the Tiger 900 range, producing 107 bhp and 90 Nm of peak torque—an increase of 12 bhp in peak power and 3 Nm in peak torque. The seat height has been adjusted, ranging between 820-840 mm on the GT and 860-880 mm on the Rally Pro. While the Tiger 900 GT is geared towards on-road performance, the Tiger 900 Rally Pro is designed for more challenging off-road adventures.
The 2024 Triumph Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro underwent updates in overall appearance. The motorcycles feature a split LED headlamp with a transparent visor and a secondary fender, along with an upswept exhaust, elongated single seat, and streamlined LED tail lights. Notable additions include a new 7-inch TFT screen from the Tiger 1200 with Bluetooth connectivity.
Triumph Motorcycles has not officially confirmed the prices for the new Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally Pro. Industry expectations place the Tiger 900 GT between ₹ 13.95 lakh to ₹ 14.15 lakh, and the Tiger 900 Rally Pro between ₹ 15.95 lakh and ₹ 16.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India). These models are anticipated to compete against rivals like the Ducati DesertX, Multistrada V2, Honda Africa Twin, and BMW F 850 GS.
