TVS HLX 150 5G Launched In Congo

TVS has launched the new HLX 150 5 g, the sixth new variant to the HLX range on sale in the Republic of Congo. This new iteration of the bike has been launched in the African market with a bunch of upgrades, including LED lighting, adjustable rear shock absorbers, and tubeless tyres. The HLX 150F, HLX 125 5G, HLX 150X, HLX 125, and the HLX Plus are already in the range.

The 150 cc EcoThrust engine remains the same in the HLX 150 5G. It continues to produce 11.93 bhp and 12.3 Nm. This mill continues to be mated to a 5-speed gearbox as well. “This latest HLX 150 5G builds upon that foundation, combining strength and solid engineering with modern amenities. We're certain this new model will enhance our Congolese customers' journeys,” noted Rahul Nayak, Senior Vice President of International Business at TVS Motor Company. Other finishing touches on the HLX 150 HG that have helped up its appeal include chrome exhaust detailing, decorative rim strips, and refreshed visual styling, courtesy of new colour options.

Since entering African markets in 2013, the TVS HLX range has attracted 4 million customers. The series now sells in 57 nations across Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, catering to private riders, taxi operators, and courier services alike, thus making it one of TVS’ highest exported bikes. TVS currently runs production plants in India and Indonesia, supplying over 80 countries throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America, and Europe.
