TVS Raider 125 gets an upgrade with new tech. Packed with fresh features, it's aiming to wow young riders this festive season.
The update introduces Boost Mode, dual disc brakes with ABS, and Glide Through Technology (GTT), transforming the popular 125cc commuter into a tech-savvy offering.
The new TVS Raider starts at ₹93,800 for the SmartXonnect Dual Disc variant and ₹95,600 (both ex-showroom) for the TFT Dual Disc model, hitting dealerships this month to fuel festive sales.
While the Raider features the same 124.8cc engine delivering 11.2 bhp at 7,500 rpm, the torque is now boosted to 11.75 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Boost Mode via iGO Assist is claimed to provide instant power surges for overtakes, while a new crawl mode enables seamless low-speed crawling in traffic, improving fuel efficiency.
Safety leaps forward with dual discs (260mm front, 130mm rear) and single-channel ABS, plus a Follow Me Headlamp that illuminates post-ignition for safer night dismounts.
Wider tyres (90/90-17 front, 110/80-17 rear) are claimed to enhance grip and cornering, and they are complemented by sporty red alloys and a metallic silver finish.
Ride modes (Urban, Power, Rain) and upgraded SmartXonnect connectivity (now with voice assist, turn-by-turn navigation, and call handling) are now a part of either a new TFT display (99+ features) or a reverse LCD on the lower variant (85+ features).
The 2025 Raider retains a 10-litre fuel tank, 780mm seat height, and 123 kg kerb weight. Plus, it features a telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock for agile urban rides.
LED lighting and split seats on this bike add premium flair, while Bluetooth-enabled notifications keep riders connected.
The Raider, with over a million buyers since its 2021 debut, previously offered solid basics but lagged in advanced safety and handling. This refresh addresses those gaps, boosting its appeal against rivals like Bajaj Pulsar NS125 and Honda SP125.
