TVS Motor Company has launched a new special edition version of the Raider. It’s called the Raider Super Squad Edition (SSE) and is inspired by Marvel superheroes - Iron Man and Black Panther. The TVS Raider SSE is priced at Rs. 98,919 (ex-showroom, Delhi). There are two paint schemes based on the aforementioned superheroes. There’s one with a black and purple finish with some silver inserts and a Black Panther logo at the back. The Iron Man-inspired paint job gets a red and black finish with silver inserts. Both bikes also have an ‘A’ logo on the headlamp cowl which is clearly a calling card for The Avengers from Marvel.
Commenting on the launch, Aniruddha Haldar - Senior Vice President (Marketing) – Commuters and Corporate Brand & Dealer Transformation, said, “The launch of TVS Raider Super Squad Edition with two iconic Marvel characters marks another step in our successful collaboration journey with Marvel. TVS Raider has received an overwhelming response, especially from Gen Z since its launch in 2021. This Offering will further build brand love for TVS Raider.”
The TVS Raider is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 11.2 bhp and 11.2 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and boasts of features such as a 5-inch TFT console with Bluetooth connectivity, riding modes, LED head and tail lamps and a USB charger. Furthermore, it's got a 10-litre fuel tank and a comfortable 780mm seat height. Prices for the TVS Raider range between Rs. 95,219 and Rs. 1.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
