The Ultraviolette F77 is already being exported to Turkey.
Bengaluru-based Ultraviolette Automotive has begun exporting the F77 Mach 2 to European Union markets. This is the second foreign market after Turkey, where the performance-oriented electric motorcycle is being exported.
Speaking about this new endeavour, Niraj Rajmohan, Co-founder and CTO of Ultraviolette, said: “Our entry into Europe signals our commitment to delivering world-class electric vehicles designed in India for global markets. Europe is a key market for electric mobility, and we believe the F77 MACH 2 will redefine the perception of Indian electric vehicles in this region.”
With more dealerships, Ultraviolette is also projecting to retail 5,000 units of the F77 Mach 2 by this year. This should help the company register 90 per cent growth from last year, when it just retailed 500 units, predominantly in Bengaluru.
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 was launched earlier this year in India at an introductory price of ₹2.99 lakh (ex-showroom India). While its cutting-edge design remained the same, its sole offering was updated with new colour options and more performance. The Mach 2’s powertrain was tuned to now produce 100 Nm and 40 bhp. Consequently, it became quicker with 0-100 kmph coming up in just 7.7 seconds. Interestingly, the UV F77 Mach 2 could now travel further with range increasing from 305 km to 323 km (IDC). We rode the Mach 2 a couple of months ago and here’s what we made of the updated bike.
