The Ather Rizta will be the marque’s upcoming family electric scooter that is slated for launch next year.
Just yesterday Ather Energy’s CEO Tarun Mehta took to his social media account to showcase how Ather Rizta’s seat will compare to its closest rival, the Ola S1 Pro. Now the electric scooter brand has showcased how the same will compare with the seat of one of the most popular scooters in India, the Honda Activa.
The Honda Activa has been a go-to choice for many Indian families, primarily for the kind of value it offers. It is comfortable and practical, and coupled with Honda’s diverse service network, the Activa is a breezy affair to live with daily. And to tap into these aspects of the mass market will not be easy.
But judging by the initial looks of the seat comparison image that they have now shared, we can safely say for sure that the company’s research and development is in the right direction. The Ather Rizta’s heat is not only visually longer but also wider. This leads us to believe that not only the Ather family scooter will be comfier but also more spacious than the Honda Activa. How would that fair in the real world, that remains to be seen. The Ather Rizta is likely to make its India debut in the coming few months and will be the second electric scooter offering after the 450 family in Ather’s current portfolio.
