Looks like June will be quite the adventurous month for motorcycle enthusiasts.
June 2025 is set to be quite the exciting month for the Indian two-wheeler market. Four notable models are expected to make their debut this month, ranging from adventure touring motorcycles to electric scooters. Here’s what you should look forward to:
The 2025 iteration of the Yezdi Adventure was earlier scheduled for launch last month, but was delayed due to geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan. The upcoming iteration of the ADV will be more of an aesthetic upgrade over the current model, wherein it might get a new asymmetrical LED face much, similar to the old BMW F 800 GS. Mechanically, there won’t be any changes at all for Yezdi had already updated the bike last year with the latest Alpha-II series 334 cc, liquid-cooled mill that produces 29.6 bhp and 29.8 Nm. However, new features might be added to the bike, but of what kind and type that remains to be seen.
The Suzuki e-Access already made its Indian debut earlier this year at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. We recently got to experience the family electric scooter at a karting circuit in Bengaluru last week, and you can read all about it here. So, all that now remains is to see by how much Suzuki prices the electric scooter at. Given how its competitors are priced around the ₹1.20-40 lakh mark, Suzuki might keep matters competitive as well, but by how much is what we’ll find out this month
Last month saw Honda launch seven new premium motorcycles in a quick span of just two weeks. The brand is expected to maintain this momentum in June as well, and the new 2025 iteration of the Transalp XL750 is slated to hit the Indian market. Unlike the current bike, the upcoming Transalp XL750 will look sharper and more premium. The Honda ADV bike will be powered by the same 755 cc, parallel-twin mill that is capable of producing 90.51 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm at 7250 rpm. The 2025Honda Transalp XL750 is a good option for someone looking at an entry-level premium ADV motorcycle with its off-road credential and Honda’s bulletproof reliability.
Bajaj’s Executive Director, Rakesh Sharma, recently confirmed at an investor’s call that a new updated version of the most affordable 2903 variant of the Bajaj Chetak will launch in June. The Bajaj Chetak 2903 is currently priced just a smidge under a lakh rupees and while the upcoming model might not be priced more than that – it is expected to come with an upgraded battery pack and some minor modifications to the chassis, just like it did with the Chetak ‘35’ series.
