Expected to get updated suspension, electronics and cosmetic changes leading to a price hike.
Bajaj is all-set to launch the 2024 iteration of its popular Pulsar N250 in the second week of April. This update brings a refreshed feature list and some cosmetic changes to keep the motorcycle competitive in the market.
The biggest highlight of the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 is the addition of a completely new instrument cluster. This digital unit, likely borrowed from the recently updated Pulsar N 160 range will have a negative backlit LCD display. Replacing the current semi-digital setup, the new cluster will offer improved readability and space for additional information.
Further enhancing functionality, the 2024 Pulsar N250 gets Bluetooth connectivity. Expect call and message alerts along with turn-by-turn navigation displayed on the instrument cluster. A new switch cube with additional buttons will be introduced to control these features.
While the 249.cc single-cylinder engine will continue to be the workhorse, pumping out 24.1 bhp and 21.5 Nm, there's a buzz about a potential traction control system to be introduced. This will be a basic unit with no customisation to its sensitivity as seen on the Yamaha FZ range.
On the hardware front, Bajaj might introduce a USD fork which could significantly improve handling and deliver a more planted, sportier riding experience. The expected firmer front-end setup should also enhance rider feel and feedback.
The 2024 N250 is expected to arrive dressed in new colour schemes and graphics. The possibility of a striking matte colour option alongside contrasting pinstripes on the alloy wheels is likely to keep the design fresh and appealing to younger riders.
The current iteration of the Bajaj Pulsar N250 starts at ₹ 1,49,978 (ex-showroom Delhi). The addition of these features will likely translate to a slight price increase over the current model. Official pricing and availability details are expected to be revealed closer to the launch date, but our estimates suggest a bump of around ₹7-10,000.
