The biggest update to the XUV700 is the addition of the 6-seat configuration.
Hot on the heels of the launch of the updated XUV400, Mahindra has now updated the XUV700. The updates are limited to the top-spec AX7 and AX7L trims of the of the XUV700.
Prices start at ₹13.99 lakh for the base-spec MX trim. The AX3 trim starts at ₹16.39 lakh, the AX5 trim starts at ₹17.69 lakh. Prices for the updated AX7 and AX7L now start at ₹21.29 lakh and ₹23.99 lakh, respectively. All prices ex-showroom, India.
The XUV700’s top-spec trims now get a 6-seat configuration with captain seats for the second row. This means the AX7 and AX7L are now only available in 6- and 7-seat configurations. It also gets ventilated front seats with memory function linked to the ORVMs. Furthermore, the XUV700 also gets a new Napoli Black colour option across the range, but the AX7 and AX7L trims get an all-black theme with a blacked-out grille and alloy wheels as well as an optional dual-tone paint job with the Napoli Black roof. Inside, the top-spec XUV700 also gets a dark chrome finish on the air vents and centre console.
Mahindra has also updated the Adrenox suite for the XUV700 and it now gets 13 new features which include Ecosense leaderboard, M lens and toll diary. Mahindra says the XUV700’s Adrenox suite will also get over-the-air updates. Additionally, a new concierge service called Ask Mahindra has also been introduced where customers will be able to get vehicle technology-related queries, assistance and support through calls via the infotainment system. Mahindra says this will only be available from 8 am to 8 pm on weekdays.
Apart from this, nothing else has changed in the XUV700. Mahindra still offers the same 197 bhp, 380Nm, 2.0-litre petrol and the 182 bhp, 450 Nm, 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both are mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
