Apart from these concept models, the company also showcased four concept models of electric commercial vehicles.
Taking center stage at the 10th edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Wardwizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd. showcased several concept models under the brand names ‘Joy e-bike’ and “Joy e-rik”.
Of the two high-speed concept electric scooters that were showcased, one featured a more conventional design, while the other looked more rugged. The former comes across as a competitor to the likes of the Honda Activa, while the latter seems to take on the River Indie scooter with its practical design.
Joy e-bike also showcased its first hydrogen-based fuel cell-powered scooter prototype. Although it is still in the R&D stage, Wardwizard confirmed in the press release that once the technology is fully production-ready, it will be applied across varied segments including utility vehicles. This initiative is being developed in collaboration with Triton EV and the joint venture aims to “push the boundaries of innovation in the electric vehicle sector”, the brand stated.
Alongside these electric two-wheeler concepts, the brand also showcased concept models of four electric commercial vehicles - Golf Cart, Garbage vehicle, E-cart, and a E-loader vehicle. The company is also working on next-generation Li-ion cell technology in partnership with A&S Power.
Wardwizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd. had recently signed a MoU with the Government of Gujarat worth ₹2000 crore for the development of these electric two and three-wheelers, and cell technology. This investment will help generate over 5,000 employment opportunities within the state. “With initiatives like the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, the State Government is leading the transformation in sustainable mobility in India. Joy e-bike is keenly committed to providing safe and convenient electric mobility solutions, making EVs accessible for everyone. In coming years, EVs will become a necessity rather than an option,” noted Yatin Gupte, Chairman & Managing Director, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd.
